the customer has placed a batch order for these rods, making Yuefeng Aluminum the first enterprise in the group to achieve large-sized rare earth (La) alloy oil gas sliding round rod mass production.

As structural components for new energy vehicle batteries and supporting parts for electronic products, the large-sized rare earth alloy casting process is extremely difficult. The process has technical characteristics such as large liquid pool depth, long solidification span, and complex thermal stress distribution. Coupled with the special solidification characteristics of rare earth alloys, quality defects such as cracks and deformation are prone to occur during the production process.

Facing a series of technical challenges, the technical team of Yuefeng Aluminum launched a full-process process-specific breakthrough, innovated the traditional smelting production mode, and focused on the precise optimization and upgrading of the rare earth alloy doping process. In the smelting配料环节, the technical team accurately calculated and determined the optimal addition ratio and timing of rare earth intermediate alloys, effectively reducing the melting loss rate of rare earth elements and fully ensuring the activity of rare earth elements. At the same time, a standardized batching operation system with double-person verification and precise weighing was established, strictly regulating the sequence of raw material feeding, precisely and strictly controlling the fluctuation range of components, ensuring the uniform dispersion of rare earth elements in the aluminum melt, and optimizing the internal structure of the aluminum material from the source, completely eliminating primary quality defects such as segregation and porosity.

Based on the experience accumulated from multiple rounds of trial casting, the technical team continuously optimized core process parameters such as casting temperature, drawing speed, cooling intensity, and oil-gas lubrication ratio, and tailored a segmented casting control plan for rare earth alloys, effectively balancing the stress changes during the casting process, completely overcoming the problem of poor stability in the formation of large-sized rare earth aluminum rods, and achieving continuous and stable casting production throughout the process. After comprehensive testing, the product's metallographic structure, mechanical properties, appearance quality, and internal purity meet all indicators, fully meeting the customer's usage requirements.
