According to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics, from January to October 2025, the non-ferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industry reported operating revenue of RMB 7,917.88 billion, an increase of 14.2% year-on-year; operating costs amounted to RMB 7,433.12 billion, up 14.6% year-on-year; and total profits reached RMB 289.17 billion, a year-on-year increase of 14.0%.
During the same period, the non-ferrous metal mining and ore dressing sector generated operating revenue of RMB 346.32 billion, up 14.1% year-on-year; operating costs totaled RMB 197.97 billion, an increase of 7.2% year-on-year; and total profits amounted to RMB 105.06 billion, surging 33.3% year-on-year.
