This case involves products under Indian customs codes 7606 and 7607. The dumping investigation period for this case is from April 1, 2024 to September 30, 2025 (18 months), and the injury investigation period is from April 2021 to March 2022, April 2022 to March 2023, April 2023 to March 2024, and April 1, 2024 to September 30, 2025.

On September 8, 2020, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India issued a notice stating that, upon the application of Indian enterprise Hindalco Industries Limited, an anti-dumping investigation was initiated into aluminum rolled products originating from or imported to China. On September 7, 2021, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India made a positive final ruling on this case. On December 6, 2021, the Taxation Bureau of the Ministry of Finance of India issued a notice numbered 68/2021-Customs (ADD), deciding to impose an anti-dumping duty of 0-449 US dollars per ton on aluminum rolled products originating from or imported to China, with a validity period of 5 years, ending on December 5, 2026. The involved products do not include materials for aluminum can bodies (including waste materials for making aluminum cans) and aluminum foils with a thickness of less than or equal to 80 micrometers.
