Recently, the Jiangsu Provincial Science and Technology Department officially released the list of project approvals for the 2026 Provincial Key Research and Development Plan (Major Innovation and Science Technology Project). The project "Research and Development and Industrialization of High-performance Aluminum Alloy Wire Complete System Technology" submitted by Yuefeng New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. was successfully selected.
The Provincial Key Research and Development Plan (Major Innovation and Science Technology Project) is aimed at supporting the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries, the cultivation and expansion of strategic emerging industries, and the forward-looking layout of future industries. It focuses on breaking through major key technologies, developing major innovative products, and transferring major scientific and technological achievements. In particular, it pays attention to key common technologies with industry influence, frontier leading technologies, modern engineering technologies, and disruptive innovations. This selection not only fully recognizes the research direction and innovation strength of Yuefeng New Materials but also injects strong momentum for the group to seize the commanding heights of high-performance aluminum alloy wire technology.
As the first substantive action after selection, the "Research and Development and Industrialization of High-performance Aluminum Alloy Wire Complete System Technology" project launch meeting was successfully held at Yuefeng New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. on August 17th. This marks that the project has officially moved from the planning stage to the implementation stage, and all research tasks and organizational divisions have been clearly defined.
This project closely follows the national high-quality development strategy of the aluminum industry, focuses on strict service requirements such as high conductivity, high strength, high heat resistance, and high reliability, and is committed to breaking through the core preparation processes and complete industrialization technologies of new aluminum conductor materials. The project content covers three research sections: multi-performance synergy mechanism and intelligent design technology for new aluminum conductor materials, high-precision melt treatment and short-process preparation technology for high-homogeneity electrical round aluminum rods, and preparation and precise control technology for service wires under extreme conditions. The overall research follows the spiral logic of "theory guiding design → design leading preparation → preparation verifying theory", constructing a full-chain technical system from basic theory to engineering application. The three topics form a "two-way interaction, cross-validation, and iterative optimization" collaborative research model. The project is expected to form high-strength, high-conductivity, high-toughness aluminum alloy wires and high-conductivity, high-heat-resistant aluminum alloy wire complete system technologies with independent intellectual property rights. Some key performance indicators of the products will reach international leading levels, and the project is planned to be completed for acceptance in 2029.
Taking this selection and launch as a new starting point, Yuefeng New Materials will concentrate its core research forces, jointly with high-quality scientific research resources from the upstream and downstream of the industry, fully promote the key technology breakthroughs and成果转化 of the project， ensure the timely completion of all research indicators， and continuously contribute to the high-quality development of the Jiangsu new materials industry.
