Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released the list of typical cases of artificial intelligence applications in 2025. Two cases recommended by Yuefeng Aluminum Group were successfully selected: the "Real-time Online AI Analysis Application of Aluminum Ore Composition" from Suzhou Research Institute and the "Green Aluminum Cloud Intelligence Recognition" AI-enabled Decision-making and Intelligent Control Application from Yuefeng Aluminum Technology.
The "Real-time Online AI Analysis Application of Bauxite Composition" case describes how the Suzhou Research Institute, by integrating AI algorithms with spectral analysis technology, innovatively adopted a spectral preprocessing technology that combines data and physical mechanisms, developed a deep AI detection model with high accuracy, and produced an independently controllable online detection equipment for bauxite. This equipment efficiently achieved real-time online detection of components such as alumina, ferric oxide, and silica in bauxite, reducing the single detection time from the original 4 hours to 20 seconds. It provided strong technical support for the scientific and reasonable ore blending in alumina production and the stable and efficient operation of the process, solved the core technical problem of intelligent ore blending in alumina production, and has strong promotional value.
The "Green Aluminum Cloud Wisdom Insight" AI-enabled decision-making and intelligent control application for aluminum electrolysis case describes how Yuefeng Aluminum Technology, focusing on aspects such as operation monitoring, anomaly diagnosis, and process optimization control, developed a curve data determination model that enhanced the efficiency of cell condition identification. The furnace interior shape simulation model provided a basis for cell temperature control, thermal balance adjustment, furnace side maintenance, and cell life management. The operation parameter matching model formed traceable and adjustable parameter adjustment suggestions. Through the application of AI technology, it provided more reliable data support and decision-making basis for the stable operation, energy saving, and refined management of the electrolytic cells, achieving a transformation from "adjustment based on experience" to "based on data and model reference" in on-site control.
The selected artificial intelligence application cases in this round deeply align with the industry's specific needs, effectively address the prominent problems in the industry, and have achieved remarkable practical results. They have created a replicable, promotable and highly efficient practical model for leveraging artificial intelligence to drive the high-quality development of the industry.
