Two process technologies of Yuefeng Aluminum Group have been included in the National Directory of advanced and applicable process technologies and equipment

On September 10th, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission, and the Ministry of Ecology and Environment jointly released the "National Catalogue of Advanced and Applicable Process Technologies and Equipment for Comprehensive Utilization of Industrial Resources (2025 Edition)". The "Key Technologies for Producing Matrix Composite Materials by Bayer Process Red Mud Quality Regulation" and the "New Process for Green Resource Utilization of Aluminum Gray by Two-Stage Process" independently developed by Yuefeng Aluminum Group were successfully included.
 
The key technology of "Bayer Process Red Mud Quality Regulation for Producing Matrix Composite Materials" has established a new technology system for red mud-based materials. After treatment, red mud can produce new materials such as ferrosilicon powder, aluminum-silicon powder, and red mud-based dry soil, meeting the raw material demands of the cement, building materials, ceramics and other industries. It has achieved harmless treatment and resource recycling of red mud, with a red mud reduction rate of 100%.
 
The "New Two-Stage Green Resource Utilization Process for Aluminum Ash" is based on the sintering process for producing alumina. It adopts a certain process for the comprehensive utilization of aluminum ash resources, separating the valuable elements in the aluminum ash to form products such as hydrogen, ammonia water, slagging agent, and alumina. This process was once selected for the 2024 "Science and Technology Innovation China" Leading Technology List (in the green and low-carbon field).
 
The new catalogue includes a total of 96 process technologies and equipment in four major categories: industrial solid waste reduction, comprehensive utilization of industrial solid waste, recycling and utilization of renewable resources, and remanufacturing of mechanical and electrical products. The promotion and application of these process technology equipment are of great practical significance for accelerating the reduction of industrial solid waste at the source and its large-scale utilization, enhancing the comprehensive utilization level of renewable resources, and developing high-end intelligent remanufacturing.
