The United Arab Emirates Global Aluminium has reached an agreement on bauxite with Guinea.

According to foreign media reports, Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA) has reached an agreement with Guinea regarding the supply of bauxite.
The content of this agreement includes renewing the bauxite supply agreement under mutually beneficial commercial terms.
EGA, together with the government of Guinea and the Guinea Alumina Company (GAC), has stated that a friendly agreement has been reached to resolve the disputes regarding the supply interruption of EGA's bauxite and the disputes related to the Guinea Bauxite Company (CBG).
This agreement also stipulates that Guinea will pay a sum of money to GAC after the latter ceases its operations in Guinea, and that GAC's assets will be transferred to Nimba Mining Company (NMC) in order to develop the Sangarédi bauxite project.
