The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and six other departments: Support the cooperation between manufacturers of photovoltaic component parts such as aluminum frames and enterprises engaged in the comprehensive utilization of recycled resources.
March 3, 2026
The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and six other departments have issued guidelines on promoting the comprehensive utilization of photovoltaic components. The guidelines state that the proportion of recycled materials should be increased. Support should be given to photovoltaic component manufacturers such as those producing photovoltaic glass, crystalline silicon materials, junction boxes, and aluminum frames to strengthen cooperation with enterprises engaged in the comprehensive utilization of recycled resources, and increase the proportion of recycled plastics, recycled silicon materials, recycled non-ferrous metals, and recycled glass in component parts. Encourage photovoltaic component manufacturers to, while meeting performance requirements, prioritize the purchase of photovoltaic frames, metal pastes, and photovoltaic glass with high levels of recycled materials, to increase the proportion of recycled materials in photovoltaic components.
