Mexico Issues Final Anti-Dumping Ruling on Hollow Profiles from China

On September 4, 2026, the Mexican Secretariat of Economy issued a notice announcing an affirmative final anti-dumping determination regarding finished and semi-finished hollow profiles (Spanish: *perfiles huecos de aluminio*) originating from China and the United States. It was decided to formally impose anti-dumping duties: $1.93 per kilogram for the subject products from China and $1.72 per kilogram for those from the United States. The subject products fall under TIGIE tariff code 7604.21.01. The measures took effect the day following the publication of the notice.
Mexico initiated an anti-dumping investigation into finished and semi-finished hollow profiles from China and the United States on March 5, 2025. The investigation period for dumping was July 1, 2023, to June 30, 2024, while the injury investigation period spanned July 1, 2021, to June 30, 2024. On December 31, 2025, Mexico issued an affirmative preliminary anti-dumping determination, deciding to impose provisional anti-dumping duties of $1.88 per kilogram for Chinese products and $1.62 per kilogram for U.S. products, valid for a period of four months.
