According to statistics from Fuzhou Customs, in the first three quarters of this year, the export value of unprocessed aluminum and aluminum products from Fujian Province reached 7.53 billion yuan, increasing by 12.6% compared with the same period last year.
From the perspective of market distribution, Nigeria, India, and Japan are the main export markets for unprocessed aluminum and aluminum products from Fujian Province. In the first three quarters of this year, Fujian Province exported unprocessed aluminum and aluminum products to Nigeria worth 1.16 billion yuan, increasing by 374.6%, accounting for 15.4% of the total export value of unprocessed aluminum and aluminum products of Fujian Province in the same period; to India, it was 780 million yuan, increasing by 1.9%, accounting for 10.4%; to Japan, it was 580 million yuan, increasing by 44.1%, accounting for 7.7%. In addition, the export to Turkey showed a rapid growth trend, with an export value of 460 million yuan, increasing by 253%.
Private enterprises played a leading role. In the first three quarters of this year, the export value of unprocessed aluminum and aluminum products from private enterprises in Fujian Province was 3.13 billion yuan, increasing by 8.2%, accounting for 41.5%; foreign-invested enterprises exported 2.62 billion yuan, increasing by 33.4%, accounting for 34.8%; and state-owned enterprises exported 1.78 billion yuan, accounting for 23.7%.
From the perspective of trade methods, general trade dominated, and processing trade showed a strong growth trend. In the first three quarters of this year, Fujian Province exported unprocessed aluminum and aluminum products by general trade method worth 6.15 billion yuan, accounting for 81.7%; by processing trade method, it was 1.29 billion yuan, increasing by 266.6%, accounting for 17.1%.
From the perspective of brand types, the export of self-owned brands accounted for nearly half. In the first three quarters of this year, Fujian Province exported unprocessed aluminum and aluminum products under its own brand worth 3.59 billion yuan, increasing by 30.3%, accounting for 47.7%; and export of foreign brands was 150 million yuan, increasing by 35.5%, accounting for 2%.
