From January to March 2026, the global production of primary aluminum was 1751.59 million tons, with consumption at 1787.96 million tons, resulting in a shortage of 36.37 million tons. In March 2026, the global production of bauxite was 4189.74 million tons; in March 2026, the production of alumina was 1177.38 million tons; in March 2026, the production of recycled aluminum was 213.01 million tons.
