On Monday, July 20th, data released by the International Aluminum Institute (IAI) showed that global primary aluminum production in June decreased by 1.5% year-on-year to 5.98 million tons, with an average daily output of 199,300 tons.
In June, the estimated output of primary aluminum in China was 371.2 million tons.
Excluding China and the unreported regions, the global primary aluminum production in June was 2.062 million tons, with an average daily output of 68,700 tons.
