Global alumina production increased to 12.647 million tons in March

Data released by the International Aluminium Institute (IAI) shows that global alumina production in March 2026 was 12.647 million tons, with an average daily output of 408,000 tons, compared to 11.816 million tons last month. Among them, China's estimated alumina production in March 2026 was 7.53 million tons, up from 7.05 million tons last month.
